Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan Adoption Programs

Two fee waivers are available to those signing up for the Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine programs between June 15, 2009 and July 31, 2009
$300 formal application fee waiver
From June 15 to July 31, 2009, the $300 formal application fee will be waived for families signing up for the following programs*:
• Kazakhstan
• Russia
• Russia Waiting Children
• Ukraine
• Ukraine Waiting Children
$200 travel booking fee waiver
Additionally, families signing up for these programs during this time will receive a certificate for up to $200 off their travel booking fees when using Travel Intrigue for their adoption travel*.

Program highlights
The Kazakhstan adoption program offers families a great opportunity to experience the culture of the country during the adoption process. Available children can be as young as twelve months or younger and as old as fifteen years.
AAI’s Russia adoption program is accredited and active and has placed over 800 children with adoptive families nationwide since 1994. Our Russia program staff—including an experienced office in St. Petersburg, Russia—will guide you carefully through your adoption journey.
Our Ukraine adoption program is the least costly Eastern European program and is unique in the fact that there is no referral process—families select a child from a database of children who are available for adoption.
Our growing Waiting Children programs in Russia and Ukraine place older children—over the age of three or six, depending on the country—with no medical issues or concerns and children of all ages with special medical issues or concerns. The Waiting Children adoption programs typically offer reduced fees and shorter process times when compared to the same country’s regular program. Families can either be matched with a child from our Waiting Children photolisting or have a child referred to them after application.
