Hosts of Hope 2009
Michigan host families needed for children from Ukraine and Russia!
Give hope to an older, orphaned child by becoming a host parent. Michigan families are urgently needed for our summer 2009 programs! Through the Hosts of Hope program, families can not only provide a family atmosphere during the child's 10-day stay, but also help to increase awareness of the need for adoptive families for older children. Children participating in the host programs are typically four to fourteen years old (depending on the country).
We have one group of children from Russia who have been matched with host families and will be visiting the U.S. in July of 2009. A second group of children from Ukraine is expected to visit the U.S. in August. Michigan families interested in hosting a child from Ukraine in August are urged to apply or visit our photolisting for details on specific children.
Adoption Associates, Inc. hosting programs in 2007 and 2008 resulted in nearly 95% of the participating children later being placed into permanent homes.

Supporting the Hosts of Hope program financially
Families, individuals, and businesses who are interested in supporting this program financially or through donations are also encouraged to contact us. Funds received will help to cover expenses such as travel, visas, passports, and the legal process required to coordinate the children's visit. Call 616.667.0921 or use our online donation form and select "Hosts of Hope" as your designated cause.
