Alla heads up the team of consultants for Russia in our corporate office and is the liason with staff in our St. Petersburg, Russia office. As Russia Program Director, she works with all our Russia staff to make sure families experience as smooth an adoption process as possible.

Alla has a very positive personality, always seeing the bright side of a given situation and responding in a hopeful, energetic way.
Working as a team, Alla and her staff keep up on the most current documentation needed by the courts in Russia, making sure each document is correct. She dialogues with the staff in Russia when a child is referred to a family and is available to translate on short notice in an emergency situation.
Before moving to the U.S., Alla worked for us on the Russia side of the program for a few years before she joined the AAI staff in 1996. She has grown the Russia program every year, continuing to bring children and parents together. Alla was the driving force for AAI in Russia and oversaw our successful accreditation process in 2001. As a result of her efforts, we have built a strong working relationship with Russia, becoming one of 50 agencies in the U.S. to faciliate international adoptions through Russia.
Our office in St. Petersburg, Russia currently includes six full-time employees. Alla communicates with our Russia office on a daily basis, attends accreditation conferences, and has met with governing officials in the Ministry of Education. The personal relationships she has with these officials in the government are very helpful when questions or concerns arise.
Alla has facilitated hundreds of adoptions over the years and those famlies she has touched with her caring nature will attest to her competence and genuine heart.
