I had been thinking about adoption, but I chose to pursue a China adoption after visiting the country with my parents. Being an older, single woman, I didn't know how limited my options would be. My experience with AAI was wonderful. Mary (China Program Manager) was excellent and supportive. When expected trials arose, Ming was also there to help. She made numerous phone calls and was so helpful. The travel in China went smoothly because the in-country people were knowledgeable and friendly and I was prepared and knew exactly what to expect. ...
